Hello from Early Music Week at Pinewoods!
I got here today in time for lunch, and the lovely student concerts. The afternoon started with a procession of musicians from C# Minor to C#. This year, most everyone at camp participated in the All-Camp Collegium as a singer, musician or dancer. The pictures below are of the arrangement called “Three Prayers for Peace.” While the dancers did not participate in this, I have included a picture of them dancing in another student concert presentation.
Many of the selections this year focused on early music of the Iberian Peninsula. It was a delight to hear the culminations of the week’s hard work. Kudos to everyone!
